The Goniaceritae are a group of pselaphine beetles with clearly separated hind coxae, short trochanters, three-segmented tarsi with the first segment smaller than the other two, asymmetrical or single tarsal claws, and generally complete parameres in the male genitalia (Nomura & Sakchoowong).
