Troglodytidae

The Troglodytidae are the wrens, small insectivorous passerine birds with stout legs, short rounded wings, and slender, sharp, usually down-curved bills (Austin 1961). Wrens are mostly found in North and South America, with only a single living species extending its range into Eurasia.
