Pseudagnostus

Reconstructed cranidium and pygidium of Pseudagnostus (Pseudagnostus) parvus, from Shergold (1980).


Belongs within: Diplagnostidae.

Pseudagnostus is a genus of Late Cambrian agnostids. Its members have a spectaculate cephalon, with the axial glabellar node lying to the rear of the anterior furrow and of the anterolateral lobes, the latter being separated sagitally (Shergold 1980).
