Madopterina

Pacomes subglaber, from Davis (2009).

Belongs within: Baridinae.

The Madopterina is a group of weevils found in the Neotropics, distinguished by having the body particularly elongate and parallel-sided, and the prosternum posteriorly truncate or at least never with a distinct posterior lobe (Casey 1922). The tarsi are often greatly dilated.
