The Nonionidae are a group of Foraminifera known from the Upper Cretaceous to the present (Loeblich & Tappan 1964b).
Characters (from Loeblich & Tappan 1964b, as Nonioninae): Test planispiral and involute to slightly trochospiral; aperture interiomarginal and equatorial, or areal and multiple.
