Pseudotocepheus (Pseudotocepheus)

Belongs within: Otocepheidae.

The type subgenus of the genus Pseudotocepheus is a pantropical and southern subtropical group of fairly generalised otocepheid oribatid mites.

Characters (from Balogh & Balogh 1992): Notogaster with ten pairs of setae. Epimeral setal formula 3-1-3-3. Three pairs of genital setae; one pair of aggenital setae; two pairs of anal setae; three pairs of adanal setae. Fissure iad apoanal.
