Belongs within: Oppiidae.

Dissorhina is a genus of oppiid oribatid mites known from the Holarctic, Ethiopian and Neotropical regions, in which the rostral setae are borne on a small naso.

Characters (from Balogh & Balogh 1992): Prodorsum with rostral setae near each other on a small naso; lamellar costulae present; sensillus smooth. Dorsosejugal suture convex, penetrating deeply into basal part of prodorsum. Notogaster with crista present; setae c2 poorly developed. Genital plates with five pairs of setae.
