Medioppia is a genus of oppiid oribatid mites recorded from most parts of the world except the Oriental region and Antarctica (Subías 2004).

Characters (from Balogh & Balogh 1992): Prodorsum with lamellar costulae absent; sensillus pectinate or fusiform and ciliate. Anterior margin of notogaster with posteriorly directed cristae; notogaster with ten pairs of setae, setae c2 well developed. Genital plates usually with six pairs of setae. Setae ad1 postanal; fissure iad paraanal.
