Belongs within: Psocinae.

Clematoscenea is an Indo-Australian genus of barklice characterised by fore wings with veins R2+3 and R4+5 diverging basally at an angle of 90° or more so that cell M3 is much narrower than other median cells and veins M3 and the distal portion of Cu1a are almost parallel (New & Lienhard 2007).
