Belongs within: Polydesmida.

The Platyrhacidae are a family of often large and colourful millipedes found in southeast Asia and Central and South America.

Characters (from Hoffman 1990): Collum wider than head, of which it covers only the posteriormost portion, and extended ventrolaterad behind mandibles; metaterga smooth and polished, without trace of sulcus; ozopores opening directly on paranotal surface; epiproct apically broadened and truncate.
