Parathuramminidae

Belongs within: Fusulinida.

The Parathuramminidae are a group of globular Foraminifera known from the Devonian to the Lower Carboniferous, often with distinctive tubular projections.

Characters (from Loeblich & Tappan 1964a): Globular chamber or cluster of chambers; aperture absent or multiple, at ends of tubular projections.
