Simodontus

Simodontus is a genus of ground beetles found in southern Australia, characterised by the lack of a scrobal seta on the mandible, antennae with the three basal segments glabrous, transverse sulci on abdominal ventrites 4–6, and elytra with three punctures on the third interstice.
