Belongs within: Lamiales.

The Jasminoideae are a group of oleaceous plants with ascending ovules, generally with a differing number than two ovules per locule. The type genus Jasminum, jasmines, comprises vines and shrubs found in warmer regions of the Old World, often bearing white or yellow, fragrant flowers.
