Limnomedusae

Limnocnida tanganyicae, from Parker (1907).

Belongs within: Medusozoa.

The Limnomedusae are a poorly defined group of hydrozoans with a biphasic life cycle whose medusae have ecto-endodermal statocysts and/or gametogenic tissue along their radial canals, and polyps not covered by a theca (Daly et al. 2007).
