Proximitra rutidoloma, from Beu & Maxwell (1990).


Belongs within: Mitridae.

Proximitra is a primarily Australasian group of mitre shells (with Tertiary fossil representatives known elsewhere) with a relatively low, turreted spire and more or less strongly shouldered whorls.
