Nenteria is a genus of uropodoid mites commonly found in manure or compost (Evans & Till 1979).

Characters (from Evans & Till 1979): Fixed digit of chelicera extending well beyond tip of movable digit, levator tendon of movable digit with a sclerotised node; dorsal shield not divided; pedofossae present; genu I lacking paired ventral setae.
