Stenophlebioptera

Belongs within: Euepiproctophora.

The Stenophlebioptera are a group of fossil dragonflies known from the Lower Jurassic to the Lower Cretaceous (Fleck et al. 2003).

Synapomorphies (from Fleck et al. 2003): Nodal Cr very oblique, angle Cr-RA >140°; subnodus Sn very oblique, with or without cross-veins reaching it; CuA with broad area between two most distal posterior branches; straight supplementary longitudinal veins present in areas between IR2 and MP, near posterior wing margin.
