Belongs within: Conjunctae.

The Trechitae is a group of carabid ground beetles supported as monophyletic by the presence in males of protarsomeres 1 and 2 that are dentate and dilated on the inner side, as well as by ribosomal DNA constitution, and aschiasmatic meiosis in males (Roig-Juñent & Cicchino 2001).
